I’m really torn on the handful of matches I’ve played so far. Back in the day, I put a decent amount of time into BF4 on console. I enjoyed it, but it was also my first entry into the series—I never played BF3 or anything earlier. Since then, I’ve played a bit of BF1 and 2042. I skipped BF5 because the World War setting felt stale after BF1 and never really interested me. As for 2042… well, it was a joke. An absolute mess at launch, and it completely failed to capture what I loved about BF4.

That said, my time with BF6 has felt better. It’s far from perfect, but it does feel like a step in the right direction. The maps are small, and from what I’ve seen, many others seem the same. That’s not a deal-breaker for me, but I do hope they release some larger-scale ones post-launch. People are complaining about the UI and menus, but honestly, every Battlefield I’ve played has had atrocious menus—it’s basically tradition at this point—so I don’t see it as something worth docking points for. I’ve also seen complaints about the lack of vehicle skins, but that’s simply not true; the next weekend’s reward is one. They just aren’t in the beta, which is fine.

TL;DR: A lot of the complaints I’ve read feel completely baseless. That doesn’t mean the game is amazing, but it is enjoyable—especially with friends—and for me, that’s enough. Performance has also been better than some are saying. I’m running below minimum specs with a 1070 Ti and a Ryzen 3900X, and I still get a solid 60fps most of the time. Honestly, most modern games can’t even manage that for me at launch.

50fps with a 3080/5600x on 1440 high + DLSS. Abysmal

They will not be getting rid of secure boot and people will still be buying the game.. sorry to say. The limited access beta hit over 300k yesterday will hit even more over the weekend.. thats all people who have secure boot enabled and are enjoying the game for what it is..

Sure you can be stubborn if you like and stay on Windows 10 forever.. or just turn it on and not worry about it as it doe not harm anything by having it on.
It's not a requirement for Windows 11 anymore. I just had to help my friend that didn't have secure boot or tpm 2.0 and he's on Windows 11.

Always thought it was needed to install.. I know you could work around it but sure it was a requirement.. TMP 2.0 is a requirement tho unless you work around it some way.

My bad... but still secure boot is not going away and more and more games will start needing it.. and yeah it wont course any harm so
