Make sure your repair team is on then as already said, turn off guns and sails so more crew can help fight the fire. Remember to switch them back on when the fire is out.

There is now way in hell you will ever be able to play this on a steam deck. We even struggle on PC with 8GB of VRAM and the steam deck afaik uses shared memory. No way in hell HFW can run on shared memory.

Is there any way to take an additional one from the shop without upgrading the prior one?

Like...having to rely on stuff like the fishing rod to randomly spit out the exact item you want a duplicate of - when you see the item...you want in a shop...is annoying.

Your experience is based on flawed memories bud. You are also misusing the term. ASE released several years after the first date they shared. It became a darn meme. The entire joke about them releasing late started with ASE itself.
