lost 23 mmr because i got matched with a chinese 1200 mmr player that has after 7 rounds just t1 units and 2 sniper level 1 vs. 2 wraith level 3 with upgrade. + enemy goes vulcan and he just melts. is this fair? i won my lane all the time.

Is there a character editor or a femal character ? I only play as female in RPGs , dont like to look ata males butt during a game.

I, erm, guess it works - by trading one jank-ass aspect for another, now making large army movement look like a toilet unclogging. Would probably prefer to see the pathfinding actually tackled properly (they did allude to it, if nothing else) instead of this band-aid.

While vaguely on topic - the AI seems to have gotten somewhat more sophisticated (actually upgrading its squads and adding officers, also using unit abilities (watched some gameplay and was genuinely surprised by seeing enemy SMs throw grenades) instead of just bum-rushing you with numbers), but the existing pathfinding got more borked somehow (units get stuck on curved terrain, builders can't get to harder-to-get-to building nodes like geothermal spots)?

Seems like a mixed bag for now, honestly. I wouldn't mind seeing Relic actually return from the ashes at least by polishing this to a greater state, starting with technical hiccups and adding options like choosing which expansion to allow in multiplayer (I wouldn't mind playing on some Soulstorm skirmish maps without Soulstorm's additions). Probably a wait and see for now from me, all things considered.

I'd absolutetly love this, giving ideology more mechanical depth and more interesting choices to make. Really give it some mechanical crunch to keep it interesting and give you a reason to perhaps try out something you otherwise wouldn't because it sounds annoying or too powerful so you just leave it on the table forever and never touch it. Something like increased research speed for example is an option I'll never click currently but actually might consider if I had to pay for it in other areas as suddenly it comes at a cost and isn't just a second in set up research modifier

100%. Can't really think of an argument against it.
