Yes, that was the only skill check I found with Meditation. But even in that case

we can save the points because with high Runes Arcana we can read the altar and know how to evocate the monster so there will be only another panther. So even if we start the battle with most people sleeping, the damage the 2 monsters can do is to limited and you can handle the battle.

Because this is meant to be an arcade game rather than a realism simulator, and because of the combat distances involved (anywhere up to 450m on a 1-2km square map, although because of questionable map design most of the time the actual combat distances are 200m or less), the RNG that is 'shot dispersion' needs to be turned off.

Instead just let players shots go where they're actually aiming, and then let the RNG that drives hit detection and damage calculation do its thing.

As for title have them fix the problem with the size of them present in the previus game?

Lastly, it’s pretty clear: this isn’t just about enjoying Civ 7 anymore. It’s about defending your investment, financial and emotional, especially after dropping $120 on the Founders Edition. That’s just human nature (sunk cost fallacy); everyone’s done it for something they care about.

But once defending your purchase means minimizing or dismissing the majority who are disappointed, it crosses from personal taste into straight-up denial. No one’s taking your enjoyment away. But that doesn’t erase reality: most of the player base isn’t happy, and the numbers show it.

And if you deflect again with, “I don’t care about the numbers, I just like the game” or "people can write fake reviews on Steam," you’re proving my point. Personal enjoyment isn’t a counter to valid criticism. When you keep bringing it up, you’re just showing your identity is tied to your financial decision, not to Civ 7 itself.

i think the best comparison would be dachstein if someone ever built a village on top of it. has a lot of actual ice caves, mountain paths and plenty of snow even during the warm seasons

You are totally wrong, the game is 100% inspired by Hallstatt and it's sorounding. You can watch the documentary that Xbox made about this game release, and you will see that devs spent a lot of time taking pictures of the city to make their own version of it
