Luck-based, for the most part. It's a mini-boss like the Beetle, Queen, and Count on the Woodlands map, and following the same rules it just doesn't show up a decent amount of the time. Only thing you can do is avoid Sinkholes and hit as many of the ferrymen that you can once you have a workable build going.

Honestly, with Oberon's rework coming up, now would be the *perfect* time for DE to pivot and actually implement this skin. It'd do insanely well

Custom worlds? That sounds like an insane amount of work. Is that even worth putting into a game this old? You might as well start from scratch just to add this, instead of having to rebuild the entire game just to make that possible

Custom stats sounds pretty stupid too when the game scales entirely based off your level. This is so easy to offset with the new custom characters being level 1, or taking place of normal knights.

Insane mode quite literally is what it’s supposed to be, doesn’t need anything changed.

Let’s be honest, would you see this amount of players return just for some new levels? I’m fine with the amount of content the game already has, I’d much rather turn it into a sandbox of custom characters.

Btw a lot of custom characters have custom sword/shields, that’s more than good enough. I don’t need a +50 dmg boost from a random ass weapon

- So charge more than 3 dollars for it! not factoring in wether they can make it, or the time it takes to do so, If they can produce these things, we would pay for it.

- It definitely is, thats why i had it in its own subsection. but it would be an incredible feature. it would absolutely breathe new life into this game. Imagine being able to download a custom campaign, where you fight through new worlds, beat different enemies, and find different items. itd be awesome! well worth whatever they charge for it.

- I dont think youre thinking big enough. Imagine a character that moves really slow, but hits super hard. or vice versa, Im not a game developer so i cant think of all the cool tricks that this would make possible, but it would add variety to the gameplay, and its extremely easy to implement. Also, if theyre broken or unbalanced, it is what it is. Thats what custom characters are. If a community made character isnt balanced the way you like it, then change it. or dont play it. There will be bad ones, but there will also be good ones.

- imo insane mode sucks. Maybe its just me, but i would have preferred something like more enemies, different attacks, more frequent attacks, or something. not just higher health. Its a cop out, all they did was raise the health. sure its a challenge, but it gets boring because its just the base game..

- Personally yes although this is more of a question for the developers. I would see this venture being entirely profitable, they could charge $40 and i would pay for it. As long as it had everything else i mentioned for TRULY custom campaigns. not just reskinned worlds and reskinned enemies.

- im not just talking about stupid overpowered weapons.. im talking about weapons that dont exist. What about a weapon that swings twice, and each hit does half damage? maybe the tradeoff is that you can hit faster, but you have to land both attacks for it to be effective?
Theres so many possibilities, cant even begin to list them all here. Would love to talk about this though
