Other issue is the pc updated, because pc bought today have a auto update my pc with BIOS and chipset drivers, why i mention this is because yuo also seen alot of PC with hthem apps not installed.

And we have seen people with the old ways like dont fix it if it aient broken, PC has a way to ripple effect and things go more and more bad.

You might say why do PC user nopt do this every time they want to whats wrong or read windows event viewer with windows exclamation points.

We could say most issue we only can help with is steam options. if steam user do not know where or how to fix it.

Offine mode is not a issue i bert you mention NO connection issue when steam say it at the bottom. ( thats a network issue from yuor PC into steam or back from them.

VPN adn wifi is the worst network Soluton they increse Latency and prolong travel distance. )
so yes cable and nearest steam server should be best, problem here is congested area with many people or ISP network into it, so you see its not that simple always.

This is why change steam DL Zone sometimes works, will not work if this is own ISP that has a issue you can't get past with a diffrent route

There is only Online mode if you need to be online and play with others. special if invites go though steam.

What happened to the forum, that the devs posts are all now 1 hour old but used to be dated not long after the last posts by non dev people. Are you trying to make it look like this title has some interest so people come along and see there are others that are playing when we are not?

I don’t think a discussion board with only six threads really needs any “fake activity” 😂
What actually happened is: I set up a Discord, but almost nobody joined. At the same time, I kind of forgot Steam even had its own discussion forum.
So I thought, “Well, since nobody’s joining Discord, maybe there isn’t much interest overall,” and as a very small dev team, I didn’t spend time here. Just keep developing..
But with a playable demo coming soon, I suddenly remembered the Steam forum exists — so I came by to take a look and reply to the earlier questions.

oh THAT'S a funny idea; with units getting more on-death effects this is very possible and a very interesting concept

Haven't checked how DV models it, but cutoff in mid gear/'neutral' locks up the wheels on a real steam loco as the pistons are still trying to move, but without any valve events happening the cylinders are effectively sealed. When towing a loco usually the coasting position for the reverser should be selected in the direction of travel, we don't get a mark for that in the cab in DV IIRC but around 30% cutoff would be the right sort of area.

Also that total load to haul around is a lot, I presume by 'Economic Hauling' you essentially mean light engine moves with maybe a small logi job for company, dragging several hundred tons of 'dead' weight around doesn't seem like a great idea when a light load like that can be hauled economically enough with the DE6 at low throttle settings.
Personally my diesel setup is just DE6/slug for lead power, and DH4 for shunting and occasional helper duties at the rear of the train.

Its wild you guys buy the same game every year and then complain that it's not gotten better. No ♥♥♥♥, it's the SAME GAME.
