For a fighting game, where reflexes are the priority, it's too long. It forces you to play characters that don't require too much radical timing.

I can't turn my flashlight on and upon looking at the console I see that the flashlight command is unknown. Can anyone help me? This still happens without addons fyi.

Speaking as one that has experience this and started this discussion, I would suggest keeping most of this for the reasons you are advocating but still limiting the chain reaction, maybe to two or three chained explosions out from each target hit with the primary attack. Not to nerf the combo - this would keep the majority of the scaling and the area clear - but because the kind overkill you can see in the screenshot just takes too long to finish.

The rest of the game is fairly well set up to be quick and without much in the way of wasted clicks or waiting for an action to complete, but this honestly can take a minute or so to complete.

Yeah, hitting 10K+ overkill is just wasting time when each tick is like 30. Really good combo you found though.
