How censored is it?

So, while I do agree that OP and the other responses are up in arms about effectively nothing,

I wouldn't exactly classify ideologues infiltrating culture and censoring art to appease the easily triggered sensibilities of a very vocal activist minority as "nothing".

Originalmente postado por Atrum Ruina:
your repeated argument here is that it can't be censorship because Capcom made the decision to change in themselves. This is a bit of a fallacy; self-censorship is a thing.

Spot on, just be thankful you're not arguing against someone inherently dishonest *cough*cough*Tanoomba*cough*cough*. No names 😁.

This is art that had already been created and has been modified to better appeal to -- or to be less likely to offend -- modern audiences.

I can't be the only person to havs noticed that the disingenuous activists called the "modern audience" only cares about their own feelings and opinions.

How there is this blatant double standard in they don't care if their culture or ideology offends you and God forbid you try to censor any of their art.

Originalmente postado por Atrum Ruina:
Again, in this instance I think it's silly to get mad about since some of what was changed was about licensing and otherwise it's just one piece of bonus art

It's about principle and the lack thereof by these ideologues. If you don't stand your ground on any censorship issue to stop them then they will persist with impunity.

One could be one small piece today can easily turn into an entire section of a game tomorrow if they're left unchecked.

They seem specifically concerned with censoring their older content, even as their modern content is arguably just as risque, if not more.

They're deconstructing the culture which already existed to institute culture marxism in its place so it can become the new norm and way of life going forward.

I know it sounds ridiculous, but if you look into the homogeneous ideals of communism and apply those same communist principles to culture then you get cultural marxism.

It's not progressive, or it's not progress for the common people, it's the elites and the ruling class trying to force their culture and ideology as your culture and ideology.

Originalmente postado por Atrum Ruina:
The people modifying the content are *not* the original artists.

Doesn't really matter, the fact they are not the original artists makes it even worse and the act even more salacious.

Saying Capcom is the chef is silly; Capcom, continuing this stupid analogy, owns the restaurant. Capcom doesn't cook the food and chefs come and go over the years.

Capcom, being the restaurant owners, are fully aware of what the chefs (developers) are doing with their recipes (intellectual property).

To try and shift blame away from Capcom is absurd especially when talking about rereleases for some of their most beloved classic IPs which built their company's success.

Agora
night
My items:

Alfredo (x1)
Scotsman (x1)
Robin Hood (x1)
Englishmen (x1)

or view them here

My trading terms:

1:1
  • Same set (this game) trades. If you take one of my duplicate cards and give me a card that I don’t have yet.
1:1+1
  • Same set (this game) trades. You can choose any cards in my inventory and give me a card from the same set plus another item. The plus item is a compensation. Because after the trade, I will likely end up with duplicate cards or random cards, It doesn't help at all in my crafting badge process.
  • The plus item can be:
    gems (10 or above)
    steam emoji (marketable and tradeable)
    steam background (marketable and tradeable)
another random card that you don't need anymore
1:2
  • Cross set trades, you can pick a card and give me any two cards with equal or higher market value.
1:X
  • Cross set trades for foil/non-marketable cards, trade ratio X will be depends on its value/rare and my personal feelings about it. Hit me with your offers and I will consider.

Generic note
  • From time to time, for IRL reasons I may not be available or online (couple of days). If you sent any offers in that time window, it may take a while. I will look at them when I could. Thank you for understanding.
  • If your tradeoffers are following the terms above, then they are usually accepted. With some exceptions:
    1. I’m about to use those items to craft my badges. (rarely, but I still do from time to time)
    2. Someone asked me to reserve that item, and I already accepted their request. (ex: wait x days for the trade hold to end)

Unforutnaly, in those cases, I'll have to decline your offers.
  • I will prefer/priority trade will users that have mobile authenticator on.
  • Scammers will be blocked and reported.

I'm curious as to what differences between 1.x base game and 2.0 base game you have an issue with. There really weren't any major changes besides fluid mechanics and optimizing how bots operate.

Well, it's three-fold:

- The pipes not relying on RNG to decide which junction gets priority makes them predictable and does not require unintuitive back-and-forth in bugfixing, thus making them much easier to use. Completely unfitting ubermench who seek glory or repetition and randomness in their games, as any problem that is not based on random chance gets fixed instantly. If you prefer new pipes, skill issue, git gud!

- The research tree got rehashed and two or three end-game techs now come at the new end-game. This makes the game easy, because you have access to less stuff and need to figure out more challenges before you get those technologies. Even a child can figure more challenges out! Some of us have so little patience and attention span that then NEED their games to be compressed into smaller forms, otherwise we lose the minecraft movie was absolutely terrible and is a death to cinema!

- New combinators UI allowing you to do more with less is a shortcut and it makes the game too easy. Yes, you do the same thing as before, just with less clicks... like a child. Consider some of us are so out of shape, that moving the mouse more is the daily exercise we need to rest up and prepare for, so getting robbed of that challenge is actually very bad for our health. That makes it too easy, we all know getting fat is easy, and now Factorio is for fat children unfortunately :(
