Why groups like Collective Shout are dangerous

You sweet summer child. The group behind this ban has plans to go after any 18+ game. What you saw is them getting their foot in the door. They will go after games like GTA, BG3 and CP2077 because there is adult content in there.
And the "it is illegal" argument just isn't working. Killing people is also illegal so any game where you can do that is then also a high risk game. So remove them too.
Then again, breaking any law is by definition illegal, so remove any game in which you can break any kind of law because they are high risk too.

They will push the boundary further. You not doing anything is exactly what they want.

That group can go after anything else they want, they'll fail though. Because there isn't anything else for them to go after that can be potentially illegal. They can go after GTA, BG3 and CP2077, and they'll fail because there is nothing in those games that are potentially illegal. Visa/mc won't do anything if that group reports those games to visa/mc because Visa/mc knows there wouldn't be any risk of liability for those games.

What you are saying isn't going to happen because nothing else can potentially be seen as obscene.
That group already lied once, and they have more lies ready for ever single game they don't like. The whole history of that group is filled with telling lies. Which also contained the lie about illegal games.
They have the foot in the door and will try to barge in. And if nothing is done, they will succeed.

What will happen if Nintendo win the lawsuit?
Agora
Buster
If Nintendo wins they open a big can of worms that allows older games to attack Nintendo.
They touched Pandora's box they really should not of. It's in their best interest to lose now.

Mario kart and Pokemon in particular are subject, if you can attack tiny mechanics they ripped off. So many MMORPG's can sue them if they win. Nintendo wasn't first with 99% of their stuff their a copy cat company like Apple.

Palworld is more similar to an Old MMORPG called star wars galaxies and its creature handler \ genetic engineer class then it is Pokemon mechanics wise.

This genre has existed since pre millennium in MMORPG'S. SWG was the first to let you capture and mount creatures in a 3d game with other players and let you fight them against other players and with guns at that.

Sony used to hold the rights to that game, they lost it when they sold of their PC MMO division, but the rights to it are floating out there, either in the hands of disney or the people that currently run the everquest games. SWG pre dates all the 3d POKEMON games, meaning whoever holds the rights could sue Nintendo over everything they have done with pokemon after it transitioned to 3d openworld.

As for Mario Kart, Sega was the first to ever create a branded Kart racer in 1988 with Power drift, pre-dating mario kart 1 by years meaning sega can sue them for all its mechanics.

Platformers, Moon\Sun Cycles, bow and arrow trajectories from projectiles, etc from games before Nintendo, all sorts of little mechanics can be patented in japan and used to sue Nintendo if they win you could even go so far to patent the first 3d rendering techniques and sue nintendo over them, Nintendo wasn't the first to make any 3d game. Even the Mario character itself can be challenged since he is a stereotype.

Pandora's box Nintendo has opened and if they haven't realized it yet, and are trying to shut it they are complete morons.
