Hey, I haven't been playing for very long and haven't really found anything about it in other discussions.
I'm still at the beginning, only a few years in, but how do I get poison?
I've been searching everywhere and can't find it anywhere.

AC6 is a joke. PVP is so broken compared to rest of the series line up. Coming from a vet AC player that have played ac1-ac6. AC2-3 battle system was in the right direction. Not this one, the focus stagger is lame and doesn't need to be in AC6 at all. People just running meta build that stagger you fast so they could just dump load of damages after.

I quit this game when the meta was kick the ♥♥♥♥ out of you and then dual zimmerman you in the face. This isn't armored core, it's Sekiro with a mech skin. Like you, I'm a vet, started Gen 1, skipped 2 and 3, then got back in at 4 and left at 5 and then tried to liking AC6. I just couldn't.

Too much emphasis on a stagger system, a heal system that didn't need to be in the game but hey, it can't be interrupted and your foes can just heal upwards of 20 times a fight if they want. Ranges so anemic that I might as well drop the guns entirely and just start punching the other AC, and the worst part is, I'd be more effective throwing hands than trying to play even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mid-range. Back when Armored Core was Armored Core I was able to fire a linear rifle from beyond 400 meters and deal full damage. AC6? Best it can do is 150(And it ricocheted until I was within shotgun range). Sniper rifles simply don't exist.

If the devs wanted to make an Armored Core game that was melee only, they should've made one that was melee only, this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ everything is basically shottie range or less(A shotgun in real life using buck has an effective range of 100 meters, just fyi. Slap a slug in that ♥♥♥♥♥ and you can sling it further than most most AC6 weapons maximum ranges, and it'd not ricochet off something) is just horrible and unfun. If I wanted to play Sekiro or Dark Souls, I'd play Dark Souls.

I play Armored Core for the feeling of being in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ war machine that I can customize however I want. My playstyle is mid to long range, always has been. Allows me the comfort of switching it up and dashing forward for a sword slash or going back to fire off one of my shoulder cannons and I was brutally effective. But there is none of that in AC6. There's just, "Get so close you can see the whites of their eyes, have high stagger damage or you do nothing."

Honestly, I don't believe any of you AC6 newbies would last ten seconds against Nineball.

it is related but Sony is cleaning house. Its the car bozo anyway who fired people while he was busy buying new cars to add to his collection. Sony is cleaning house,good riddance.

The combat is good, and is honestly great.
Up to Daybreak, all games are completely turn-based, since Daybreak, there’s this hybrid turn-based and action-based mix you’ve experienced which I appreciate.

The dlc/expansion IS pay to win, you get access to the new material (which i imagine is used for new and better weapons/equipment), lvl 65 which means more stats points and artifacts. Sure if a lvl 60 god of the game was up against a good lvl 65 they may win but the lvl 65 has objectively more powerful items and artifacts (i don't have the dlc so idk what artifacts do, if they give eg. passive stats/abilities or active abilities)

It seems to be caused by SandBox - Thousand Shelf mod. Are you using that one? Try disabling it and let me know how it goes

I'm the creator of the Thousand Shelf mod.
Some of my save data can be loaded and some can't.
When loading the save that can't be loaded, the error message "NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" keeps appearing endlessly.
When loading the save that can be loaded, the Thousand Shelf mod works normally.
I also unchecked all mods, quit the game, restarted it, and tried loading, but I got the above error and couldn't load.
I've tried modifying the mod, but it hasn't worked yet. Do you know where the error might be?
