They should really start adding skins for these class-specific things, stuff like mechanist golem skins and such stuff as well, it would sell like hot cakes for sure lol
Though I guess it could maybe lead to problems visually recognising classes and abilities, which would be an issue for pvp and stuff, so it's probably not gonna happen :')

I do enjoy RPG games that have that Mage-Familiar relationship, even if the Familiar isn't even all that useful.. just feels right for a Mage to have a magical animal companion.

I wonder how it'll be implemented though, the video does say protect them.. so I really hope they are a new take on the Ranger Pet mechanic much like the Mechanist was for Engineers.. swapping elements to also swap pets, I can see that working quite well.

I love Pet specs so this will be the first time I look forward to an Ele spec if that is indeed how they function in the game.

I just hope that the familiars don't end up being like the Luminary lamp. Like, sure, it's super pretty and interesting, but it just floats right next to you and does absolutely nothing else hahah
