In addition to everything, it was a titanic world; you can verify for yourself that this is the population limit that a world of that size can have, covering the entire map with land and allowing the houses at maximum level to cover it completely.

Yeah, agreed on frame pacing. General FPS is solid though when I open the quick menus it stutters a bit.

Crom Bás is a dungeon designed with some of the worst content ever to have existed in Mabinogi -- literally the picture beside the definition of 'confusing hard with frustrating' in the urbandictionary.

Any kind of content that has, or will ever be absolutely ass to encounter in Mabinogi is in Crom Bás, and soloing it makes that even worse. The preeminent strategy to it's boss, for crying out loud, is primarily to avoid doing ANY of its mechanics, because no-one wants to deal with it. Most players' solo experience with that dungeon was a mind-numbing mix of frustration and indignation, fomenting hate for the game and the event that made them feel they had to engage with it. And even then, they basically received nothing for their efforts.

The reason people did Uladh dungeons, instead, was simple: Why suffer runs of up to an hour, even with infinite revives, in content that is the equivalent of a game dev rubbing their middle finger in your face repeatedly just to get basically nothing ALMOST ALL OF THE TIME? Just do dungeons instead. You probably will have to run HUNDREDS of them and still get nothing (which is the truth: more efficient, my ass, it was just less awful), but at least that isn't Crom Bás.

If you really want people to suffer through soloing Crom Bás, then you're just an inconsiderate jerk, firstly, but besides that, maybe don't rely on quadruple-nested gacha rates for the drops for the content that literally no-one wants to run.

This was already an awful event because of the awful spawn rates and the fact that you could get literally useless gear for your character (opposite gender geas items, race-locked weapons), but making it so players can't even farm in relatively decent content is just an objectively worse mishandling of an already mishandled event. And no, raising the 1% rate of gold or dapper leprechauns in Crom Bás to 2% isn't going to change that.

That's not the reason, the reason this game died is because they ruined the meta. They allow'd parrying light attacks and nerf'd zones. When the game was golden all zones countered all dodges/(dodge attacks) and you couldn't parry a light so the defensive feint spam meta that we have today didn't work because you couldn't feint parry a light attack. You could block it, but no reward for that.

Love it, really. I spent the morning figuring out which mod broke my game. It was just one series of mods.
I'm not sure if it's a coincidence, but maybe EA is cracking down on certain mods.
