Well clearly 5k hours of game time doesn't equate to a degree in network engineering in your case. If you want to live in ignorance and blame issues on technical things you don't grasp, not my problem.

It's good to think about the small configuration, you're doing a good job, but October 14, 2025 marks the end of Windows 10, and therefore all small configurations, because they are not compatible with Windows 11. There are rumors that Steam will follow suit and abandon Windows 10. The timing is bad, because life is getting more and more expensive and changing PC, Windows and smartphone without any updates after 3 years becomes painful in the long run. Will the game be compatible with Linux? I think I will definitely get rid of Windows in the future. Knowing that I will lose most of my steam games because they are not compatible after win 10... The joy of digital, I am starting to see it.

Playing on a PC. Good Specs all around. I checked the files as above and all seemed in order. Worth noting that the Loadout.json shows it was last updated on 3/8/25. (August 3rd 2025.) so it has not been updated since. dunno, that doesn't seem right......

I dont remember when you get it but there's a badge you get that drops bombs on dodge that breaks the eyes.

I just spent one hour in the demo, but only finished the first day of mail deliveries because I enjoyed the island design so much that I wanted to explore everything (and I didn't know if there was a day 2 in the demo).

A few technical issues I had: There are so many lovely small places, but unfortunately the camera is a bit wonky with stuff in the foreground getting in the way quite a lot. The icons for inventory and quest log are way too big and annoying imo, and the map should have a shortcut key and definitely not require me to press a button 3 times to close it. All those long button presses are an accessibility issue, an option to replace them with a single key would be much appreciated.

Otherwise I have to say I was not comfortable opening the letters with the way it was presented in the demo. The store description says "Whilst in the real world this is a crime, on Arralla Isle it’s perfectly acceptable, and even encouraged." - but in the demo, our character specifically says it IS a crime, and the only one kind of encouraging it is the weirdly winking boss. I got no consent at all from the letter writers or recipients, and no info about it being a different culture where that's normal or something.

This pretty much gets me to the next point, or rather a question especially after reading another post here: How cute and funny is this game really? Fair enough that those veggies have very familiar problems that aren't so cute, but "sinister story hints"? I know a lot of people are all over "cozy but crunchy" or whatever, but I just want something low stakes and relaxing.

Overall a cute and fun experience!
