I get the whole thing about its a mafia game and theres no happy endings. I also get the whole narrative of the game was you cant choose what you do but can choose who you are.
The ending just makes the whole game feel pointless. It deesnt even feel like a mafia game, more of romantic tragedy where u do chores and repetitive missions on the side.

Hey, tough guy. Nice to see you.
Since you haven't played the game, you may not realize that defenders do capture points that have been lost to attackers. The process is the same as it is for the attackers. Defenders stand on an enemy-owned point, they watch the "Capturing" progress, and when it completes it has been "Captured".

Maybe you should play the game and, also, be less angry in life.
