Well, I've already countered these counterarguments, but since we're bringing this up again...
- Dess is just older than Noelle.

- Asgore is not a maniac, even in a battle with the last human who is not enough to break the barrier, he does not want to fight (that's why he breaks the mercy button). I really doubt that Asgore would take his friend's daughter away from him in order to kill her. Plus, Asgore said that humans who FALL into the underground will be considered as enemies, and it is even beneficial for Asgore to delay collecting human's souls as long as possible, since if he breaks the barrier and goes to war, what is the chance that technologically more advanced humans simply won't throw a couple of megatons of "determination" on them? and they won't destroy them completely.

In terms of items - system will be balanced, improved and new items added :) Sheriff's town tour respawn colliders are back again so you can't drive behind borders from now on. I agree that minimap should update but this need a special implementation (hope to do it in the future)

late mid and late game is bad, but i play now on a giant map and a lot of stuff is happening in the year 2443

zooming all out on the map seems to help a bit, but i play now mostly on normal and fast speed, very fast has no diff to fast, in fights or zoomed in map/systems i switch the speed to slow or very slow

still have to test it on a small map with fewer opponents

A new league usually means a couple things. First it's an economy reset since everyone has to make new characters and get new items. Then it always comes with a big update, which sometimes only includes balance changes but sometimes it also adds new content to th egame. As of right now in PoE2 we expect to get new content every new league. I think I heard that act 4 will get released wiht the next league?

And then there is also something called a league mechanic, which is a brand new map mechanic that during the league is present on every single map. Some examples of map mechanics would be strongboxes, essences, rituals or expeditions. And those league mechanics sometimes make it into the base game with a later league, even though they od usually receive some changes, but sometimes they will also be gone forevre after the league ends.

The Dawn of the Hunt league did actually not have any league mechanic, but from what I've heard they do plan to give the new league a league mechanic.

And well, most of the players are always just playing the leagues, while there certainly are standard players, they're in the clear minority. But sadly the standard league is also heaviy affected by inflation, which is why the prices are sometimes really high, which is why it's usually much more fun to trade in the league than in standard.

dont think it's worth investing a single slots of your relics for it, if you find it laying around a gravestone, sure grab it, it's alright
but actively starting with it is kinda meme tier, unless it just so happens to be on already useful rune
