This is because on your player card, there is a number of kills.
Since big streamers focus on playing for kills - because it's more entertaining than just playing the objectives, it means that the vast majority of the playerbase believes this is the correct way to play. The issue is though, is most people who play the game, just see "eliminations" on the player card, and go unga bunga big number means better. So they just play for kills.

The first two spots I can explain, but that last one I cant.. maybe dumb luck, or thinking the same thing you were if he was in your position.

And that right there is the issue. The whole point of the 60-day patch was to make the game less reliant on dedicated anti-tank weapons. You're still encouraged to bring them as they're far more effective than AP4 and lower weapons, but large enemies aren't complete gear checks. Well, it seems like the people responsible for the 60-day patch were either fired or lobotomised, because we're back to the braindead balancing of Launch, where you either bring the "correct" weapon or GTFO.

At this point, I genuinely don't see the point in NOT bringing a Quasar to bot missions.

I have zero interest to play Fabien, I hope this is optional or we can recruit NPCs as companions. Please clarify if these sections are forced and how much of the playtime they require.
Please also clarify if your dev diaries are still relevant for the game or if the game got reworked in its fundamentals.

To paraphrase: when people say sacrifices must be made, they usually mean they should be made by others.

I didn't think that easy mode actually made the levels any easier - wasn't it just making the rhythm timing more forgiving?

Some of the zigoton levels were pretty punishing - not sure if it's some weird interaction with the game now being at 60+ fps (apparently some enemies now do extra multihits because of it). I think it might be worth defending against the kibatons rather than attacking, since on defence your tatepons won't get knocked back so much.

Also, kibapons are pretty strong on the zigoton levels, as long as you get fever attacks going.
