It's pretty ironic how you're talking about reading comprehension when you still don't even understand what "exclusive" meant. And yes, you still don't understand how time zone works either.

You're trying to deflect and absorb to manipulate the conversation, it started as a ps5 exclusive but the PS5 is it's home system, which is why it would be weird that it's on Steam first. The word "exclusive" has nothing to do with comprehending the overall message/question in the post.

I do understand time zones, I also understand how trolling and rage baiting works along with the psychology behind it. I can tell whether talking to someone will be productive or if they just want to argue and take their personal problems out on me and you're making it pretty clear it's the latter. So no dis-respect, but my day is going well and I'm feeling great, so I'm not going to further dignify and responses from you because you want to ruin that. You don't need to force people to use the workshop, people could still use sites like NexusMods and ModDB. The point of the workshop is for the convenience of seamless installs and searches.

My point is that it would require modders to upload their work. Why should they all leave their established audiences, especially for Nexus where there is monetary value for their mods? Just saying, as a mod creator myself, don’t fix what ain’t broke.

It would only require modders to upload their work to the workshop if the game developer locks down how mods are loaded into their game so that only workshop items can be used. Relic only locked-down mod support for CoH 2 and DoW 3, all their other games can be modded in many different ways (CoH 1 even has a Steam workshop for maps but you can do total conversion mods and upload them anywhere, including the Steam store).

As someone who makes mods/extensions/sites myself, I fully endorse more options to upload our work (although I don't have a monetary incentive as I open source most of it if it's usable).
