1: Keep every single version of a game available for download. Do you know how much extra space that is going to take up? Some games basically re download itself so this is without a doubt going increase the storage size by probably 100 times.

Which gets ridic when you consider that even a small change like correcting some typoes would require the creation of an entire install version. It's not so bad for small games but we're getting to the point where those installs can run 10 20 gigs a piece.

It's better to make modders accustomed to keep their mods up to date because otherwise you'll have mods that only work on X version but other mods only work on Y version.

It's not just MOP games even SP games. dev/pubs on the support back end would rather have to deal with reports about 1 version as opposed to 3-4 different versions.

There aren't any passive drains like Hunger or Thirst to worry about in Witchspire. Food and the like serve the purpose of healing or buffing your character and will be important for combat.

As you push further into the world, the world may push back though. Requiring some preparation and caution. But we're not quite ready to discuss that in depth just yet.

So while there are certainly elements of Survival in the game, they're more on the light or creative side.
