You're right. This idea has both a logical and a ridiculous aspect. However, by brainstorming together, we can develop a solution. For example, when I first conceived of this idea, there were many problems. However, by exchanging information with you, I think we've been able to consider the issue from a broader perspective. By sharing our knowledge and experiences, we can generate better ideas. Getting shot again after dying is truly annoying, and yes, it's true that in situations where this could happen, even I kill myself so no one else dies because of me. However, if we consider the pros and cons of our system and balance them, we can solve the problem. For example, if a healer pings a soldier they're going to revive, that person won't be locked. They can still kill themselves if they want. But at least they know someone wants to save them and make their decision accordingly. Otherwise, waiting without knowing whether someone will save us is much worse. But maybe it would be much better if events unfolded unexpectedly. I don't know. So, maybe the game should remain as it is. It might be better if the unexpected situation for the dying soldier remains uncertain. However, for a healer who runs around the battlefield over obstacles to help wounded soldiers, I think it would be great if the dying soldier's interface displayed a notification message that a healer had come to their rescue. At least the soldier would know I was coming to save them, and if they weren't in a risky situation, they could be patient.
The ppl can already see if medics are around, there are distances on the screen that shows how far they are away, isn't that enough? I mean what else you need? It's perfectly fine the way it is.
