I agree with the overall port in a sense. Take a look at it for the ship building. There is nothing wrong with that. I don't think it has to be one vs. the other, that is just personal opinion.

Both DLCs are well worth it. Lex Imperialis is distinctively weaker, but that's not becuase itS' bad, but becuase Void Shadows put the bar really, really high.

That's a good description of it. Void Shadows added more to the ship, Lex Imperialis adds another ship for those who want to have their own little armada.

The Arbiter origin and Overseer arch are claimed to be undercooked but it's been some fun experimentation with new items and builds so things get a little... slapstick with batons and pratfalls. Then your ranged mops up the enemies on the ground or the other melee play shuffleboard with Str bonuses. I've been thinking of a Keystone Cops party build for this.

The main backlash in reviews seems to be because there's suddenly flirt lines in middle of battle that spoils his reception and personal quandary, there are also some rather pigeonholed response options for some events that somewhat spoils the otherwise decent lore and bureaucratic conflicts of the Imperium, and you have to travel more to see the content at the start vs a lot in Act 1 for VS.

This sounds like more of a hardware problem then a software problem.

The game has its bugs, sure... allot of em even.

But its still playable in the sense of no lag or atleast so it feels for the most part

unfor i had stuttering and lag issues. im on a 5600x and a 4070 super. I ended up refunding it because anytime i moved it felt like jello or choppy
