If the game turns out to be good, who the ♥♥♥♥ cares that they delayed this? At least it wasn't for any negative ♥♥♥♥ we see games getting delayed nowadays like executive meddling, internal problems between devs, financial problems, literal scamming etc, spending lots of years and then turning out to be crap.

Yes you are entitled, instead of today being something to celebrate for now, you choose to be bitter because of how much they made you wait for this 1 game where there were many others to enjoy during this time. I mean the game still hasn't been released and for all we know it could still be a ♥♥♥♥ game despite all of the hype.

Constantly expanding the game while not setting boundaries is scope creep and project mismanagement, even if they were having fun. Especially considering they kept delaying the game despite having that trailer and demo of Silksong many years ago.

team cherry do scope creep on purpose the call it "controlled scope creep". They start with something small then expand it outwards until they have something amazing that's how they make games. The fact that the development went smoothly and they had fun is an objectively good thing, the amount of passion that went into this will directly translate too how good it is, and if that takes a long time, then good, as long as it produces a better game I'm happy. The goal of team cherry was to make a good game, not to release it fast, not to meet a deadline, not to make shareholders happy, that can only be good. Making a game shouldn't have to be hard and frustrating.

Why not add 2nd rating based on individual skill level?

I saw the video on matchmaking, are they really basing the competitive scores that is used to find matches based on visible rank only? I don't think that is a good idea because deranked players and alt accounts exist, which makes the visible rank effectively useless. Why don't they add a secondary rating based on a players K/D ratio, win rate %, no. of MVP/SVP and match based on that? A ex-gm player or a gm player with an alt against an actual gold player in unfair.

Also I never understood, why don't competitive shooters have an elo system like chess? Nobody ever does an elo reset, and so good players will just climb higher and higher instead of getting deranked every 2 seasons and so weaker players wont get stomped.

So you went to a large spice blow and died in the last remaining open area PVP combat in the game, instead of getting safe spice in the PVE areas of the game and your first idea wasn't to figure out how to improve your play or get safer spice but to complain that somehow 5 people have the entire DD locked down for you? That sound about right?
