I use normal walk all the time , and when occassionaly I need to speed up I just hold Shift.

Balancing is one the way...
While we had 3 different groups of testers from around the world just 3 of 40 testers felt this game is unbalanced at all. Thats why we are suprized about this kind of feedback. BUT sure we're working on 2 topics to get the balance right:
1. Two different kind of difficulty setting (squire and master or normal and hard ;-) --> September
2. Adjustmensts on all maps --> end of August
We'll deploy a "Road Ahead" post with all upcoming changes today.

Nice to hear - I wonder that the testers didn´t mentioned the weakness of 2 factions while the 3rd factuion (mages) have one utterly overpowered unit, which leaves the rest of the units useless.

Please fix also the costs of the building upgrades and/or the rewards in gold from the maps!
Plus fix the costs of mercenaries on the maps. Noone will hire a mercenary for 1000 gold!!

P.S.: Indeed I´ve been a beta tester in the past from a lot of strategy titles like i.e. Spellforce, Warcraft 3, WoW, Act of War, C&C4, Company of Heroes, Panzer Corps, R.U.S.E., End of Nations, Act of Aggression and even Fantasy General 2 !!

So you can trust my word ;-)

These OP units belongs to a bug. They were not designed to use all spells and attack in the same round. Not the IA and not the player units.
Building-fix is also on the way. We think that just very slight changes wil lmade it. We'll start checking them wednesday.
Would you join as a tester? Would be an honour for us!. We are a small real indie studio, so this kind of support from a veteran like you would be great!
