Personally, from a content perspective, I wouldn't say it's worth it if that's what you're looking for. But there are some interesting things in the DLC. The dogs can be very hard to find though.

I mainly bought it since the game was free and I wanted to support the devs cause this game looked interesting. The game also got me finding out about Joel's YouTube channel and finding out the earlier ENA and HANDS UP stuff.

*One copy from GOG, one Switch copy for me, one Switch copy that I bought for my then-friend (but had been stolen in the mail), a replacement Switch copy and one for Steam.

"The Visual Novel Database" is a wonderful source of information that includes any and all releases or patches known.

The official "Uncut DLC" will restore SOME content, with pretty much everything sexual removed and a lot of guro content toned down or removed.
This is how the author officially decided the game should be (after a lot of pathetic failures who should be sent to jail harassed him online).

The Restoration Patch is meant restore the English game completely to the content of the original Japanese version, both text and CG.
As far as I know, was worked on but never released.

Shades have universal camouflage. If a province is raided by a unit with it, do you see the unit or just a notice? How does the AI react? If there are a bunch near by in ambush, waiting for that unit to be attacked, could that be cost efficient? What if every one of them has a 100% chance to retreat if caught flat footed thanks to Swift Marchers?
I haven't played pbem since AOW3, but this could be fun.

Stealth is pretty useless against the AI. As far as I understand, they can predict where you are based on what you did, even if they can't actually see you. I've had units with things like specific terrain camo leave their camo, go do something to the AI, then go back to their hiding spot, and even though the AI shouldn't have been able to see them, they were able to move up to them and attack them anyways.

On top of that, cities and units can have true sight, which negates camo within their line of sight.

The posts in the thread proves that multiplayer games are stupid.
