Awesome. I was running out of suggestions. My next tip was gonna be to go to the mod makers. Not to be a jerk but let's compare it to a car. If you get a brand new engine, as long as you stick to the stock settings the engine mfr.(GSC) can help you. But if you start adding hi performance or non stock parts(mods in this case) You gotta go to the performance people (mod makers in our case) to figure out what's going on.But thanks for not just complaining and giving us details instead to help you. EA and Ubis launcher has made me so mad it's close to inducing rage. So that's why I gave you some points. (And I'm old as dirt so don't use 'em much). Yeah I'm very aware with how modding works thanks to Bethesda games but I do feel like a lot of the issues people are having in game are because of each new patch breaking something it's not supposed to.

I'm honsetly happy you're being this conscious of scope creep. get the basics done and set down good bones for a greater system and then expand upon it. Quite hopeful for the future of this game thus far.

We have some experienced blacksmiths of the gaming experience on our team and most of the time scope creep is why I have to say "no can do". We have an absolute IKEA CVS receipt in small print full of ideas but if we let that take our attention away this game goes the same way as most Kickstarter projects go; they die in the hole of getting lost in the sauce. That, and I prefer to say no and then bring the players a nice surprise over making promises that can be broken. Surprising people is more fun.
I have reasonably good faith that this project will potter along for a fair few years and maybe we'll see ACs, super tanks, blueprint tanks, all that fun. I do not know, but I am having a good feeling.

I think BA is one of the best games of this year. It has child problems, but I expect devs solve it.

I can see how excellent marketing can bring 50% more buyers, maybe even 100%... But not 600% or more.
Honestly, it's a mystery to me.

It's possible since BA was being hype up a lot from YouTubers and streamers. We know how people can't think for themselves nowadays.

Also, it was compared to being like World in conflict which is popular RTS we all want a sequel too.

I think RTS genre needs competition of devs and marketing budgets. If they do this it is good thing for all genre today.

Your guide is no more than saying teamwork and luck are the keys to win. Nothing about stacking fire resistance, not attacking when it does the sideways walk because you'll buff it's attacks. No mention of being able to roll through many of its aoe attacks. It's barely even a guide to anything.

Also you spelled tricephalos wrong.

Really? Because I actually play GW1, and a good 95-99% of loot I get is either garbage stats, only good for a few gold (of which I have way too much) or needs to be broken into crafting materials that I do not need. Sound familiar?

like eg I'm trying to get a specific weapon to give to a friend who has been hunting it for 20 years on-and-off and guess what? neither of us have gotten it! gotten plenty of white staffs and dwarven armor that ain't worth the charges in my Salvage Kits to break 'em down though, so there's that I guess.

But sure, the GW1 loot system is "amazing." When it bothers to actually give you what you're hunting. I could play the lottery and win before I ever see that weapon or any other that I'm hunting.

What's your definition of playing gw1? Cuz i played that game for over 30k hours, and to say that drops suck, that's lying, or you're simply not playing modes that have good loot drops. All elite areas on hard mode have the good stuff. Solo'ing on HM is another way of getting good drops. If you run around with heroes on normal mode, what kind of drops do you really expect? You have to do actual endgame content for good drops, or play solo on HM. And i am not sure why you'd complain about the rng. RNG is RNG, you might get what you need, or maybe not, it's RNG. When the game was alive, even if you didn't get what you needed, if the item was good (rare skin with Req 9), you might sell it in Spammadan, and buy what you need instead. Of course this isn't much of a thing now because the game is dead.

I vanquish, and I run dungeons with friends.

And what do I get when vanquishing? Tomes for classes I've maxed out on and do not plan to have an alt of. White-tier weapons that I wouldn't stick on my worst-kitted Hero. "Rare" weapons that have the wrong stats for what I'm running (that usually end up sold anyway cause I hate trading with people) Actual good weapons that can't be used because I don't have someone who can use it properly so it rots in my Xunlai bank (these are very rare and have only dropped when I wanted something more useful). Or, and this is most common, 35 gold "collector" items that I can get 5 of to trade in for a piece of armor with worse stats than what I already have. And for dungeons, mostly the same as vanquishing, give or take a few crafting materials that I don't need because I'm not crafting Destroyer Weapons.

And again, my friend has been searching for a specific weapon for 20 long years and has never gotten it. She's gotten a few others that she wanted but that specific one eludes her. And before you call her a noob or stupid she's been playing since GW1's beta. So if the GW1 loot system is so good, where's her weapon?

Weird, they deleted a ton of comments but they DIDN'T delete the dev response from 2024 saying it would release in 2024. That's hilarious.
So...Q4 2025 for sure this time? For really really sure? Pinkey promise?
