You are not compassionate.

Again, where did I say to leave them there? Now you're just being malicious.

I am far more compassionate than you are. You believe imprisoning them solves the problem, when it doesn't even address it.

So what happens when the system continues to degrade and more and more people end up homeless and on the streets? Should you just build more and more prisons to hold them in?

And you think I'm not compassionate, despite you ignoring my earlier comment about potential solutions that actually benefit people.

Multiculturalism works the way it does because that's simply the way it works. In game terms, I have never been able to implement it without causing a civil war. Could there be more violent uprisings about it after it's enacted? Sure. But they should fall off.

The thing people railing against it don't seem to see, from my perspective, is that even IRL we see that exposing people to other cultures makes them more accepting of them. America wouldn't be the place it is if enacting Multiculturalism didn't decrease discrimination and prejudice over time. But it also goes hand in hand with education and poverty. Where we see a decline in Education and Standard of Living, we see a rise of Hate and Bigotry. People feel frightened and threatened by their surroundings as a result of not understanding the world and having difficulty providing for themselves and so they find themselves lashing out at the most convenient targets. More often than not, whoever is most easily identified as an 'other'. This becomes more less impactful, however, the more deeply Multiculturalism is embedded within said society, hence the events you can see in America now(A minority of Fascist ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rounding up brown people because eggs are too expensive).

The same goes for Europe. While their Education standards are still better than America's, their Standards of living are still being attacked by conservatives looking to claw out more profits that are currently funding their social safety nets. The more that happens, the more people feel the pressure of rising prices, and the more people become susceptible to Hate and Bigotry.
