I was doing some multi test runs with a mate of mine (I'm in OCE area, they are in EU area) and after 8-9 1 lap races with zero issues we waited about 45 seconds at the end of the race on the stats screen. Weirdly, the lobby chose one of the summer DLC maps for us, which I didn't own but my friend did.

After we completed that summer race, the game mode permanently switched to Time Attack, meaning we couldn't see each other in the race, couldn't see our times or distance splits and wouldn't let me change game modes back to Race. Is there a button combo to change it?

Not sure if this is a known issue but I'm assuming it's a bug so wanted to let the team know about it.

Regarding the DLC maps. They will appear as long as the lobby host owns it; Redout 1 was like this too. It's a nice way to experience the tracks before you decide to buy or not.

Typically you cannot switch game modes when online even if you're the party leader. On very rare occasions the lobby can glitch into Time Attack mode. This is a known issue. If this happens, the lobby leader needs close the lobby, return to the main menu disband the group, and remake. It should correctly place you back in Race mode.

NOTE: Any times you set within a glitched online Time Attack mode will count towards your local personal bests. So it's best not to complete a lap if this bug occurs and immediately reset.

The fact that the modders are more active and efficient in fixing this game than the developers shows just how badly we have it. This is such a great game, but the developers for this are an absolute joke and every night before they go to sleep I hope they know just how bad at their jobs they are.

Add a skin for the swat rifle to be able to change back to the original look and for any other weapon y'all decide to change. Y'all better do this right now.

Yep this is a bug since the original retail release.

Manually deleted the far cry 2 folder, then uninstall via steam

i just quit the game and tried to uninstall again and it worked, i did manually delete the folder afterward tho.
