Too be fair, The GIFs you posted don't immediately render as a GIF but rather a "still image" of just the first frame of the GIF unless the image is "clicked-on" & thus easy to go unnoticed

The link clearly says they're gifs, and any rendering issue would be on the browser you're using to access it. And again, those gifs are extraneous in regards to what has been bug posted here. Not getting timely responses and fixes because of an extraneous gif is incredibly unserious.

We aren't discussing input configuration. I've documented a breaking change with a previous client update that prevents bluetooth dinput-connected pro 2 controllers from behaving correctly in retroarch.

Blaming me for steam staff ignoring a demonstrated bug report for months is, again, deeply unserious. They've had all the information they need to investigate this and have not even confirmed booting into retroarch with a dinput bluetooth pro 2 controller roughly two months later. They've made no requests for additional information and have fallen back to "works on our machine lol" without ever trying to actually reproduce the issue on their own.

You think state ownership of any business is capitalism if it's less than 50%?

Just so I understand your definitions here.

If, hypothetically, the US government under Democrats go and acquire 49% of most privately run businesses (assuming they have the money to do so), you will call that capitalism and would never point out how the country is becoming more socialist from increased state ownership of businesses?

Am I correct here in my analysis?

Does it even make sense to say "more socialist" or "less socialist?"

I've been told before that socialism has never been tried because the people have never owned the means of production. The implication from this is that it's not socialism unless it's fully implemented and that partial implementations don't count.

If partial implementations do count, then can we point to the failures of the Soviet Union as evidence that socialism doesn't work?

It is a spectrum. If you asked anyone whether US or China is more socialist, anyone who has any understanding of country structures would answer China, without hesitation. That is regardless of the fact that China has very large market economy (capitalism).

When people say "socialist countries" they often mean countries that are majority-socialist; more socialism than capitalism on a spectrum. I would argue such countries don't exist at the moment, because capitalism has such a strong place across the world.
