I'm already bored with it and doubt I'll return for much more this beta. Definitely can't justify spending $70 on something like this.

This week I had an achievement pop up that notified me that I'd finished 365 days of playing Mahjong on this server, and it's been making me mull over my progress during that time. A year ago this week, my total Mahjong knowledge was having watched Saki and Akagi. I had a vague idea that you were making runs of three or three of a kinds, but the in-game tutorial was actually very relevant for learning what a yaku is and why you want one.

I've accumulated a little over 400 hours in the game within this last year, and I've managed to grind my way up to the Jade lobby in 4p and the Gold lobby in 3p. There's a distinct difficulty wall each time you change lobbies. I think Gold is actually the roughest difficulty increase, but the Jade wall is very perceptible. Gold is where your opponents learn to play it safe and not deal into your hand, and Jade appears to be where they start learning when they don't have to play it safe. I think I've made pretty solid progress in the last year, and it's probably time I looked into out-of-game resources for intermediate players. I've had the Chiba book for a while, so I should probably check to see if it makes more sense now.

Even after a year, I'm still missing 3 quads, twice pure double sequence, and mangan at draw for my yaku collection. I've accumulated nine successful yakumans, but four of them have been four concealed triplets and the rest have all been counted yakumans. With luck, I'll get another type of yakuman at some point in the upcoming year. Probably even with luck, I'm not going to get 3 quads or mangan at draw.

The gacha system seems pretty chill in this game compared to others, but mostly because it's only cosmetic. As a free-to-play player I've accumulated the resources to spin the wheel 39 times, and I have four additional characters from those spins. This seems high, but two of the characters were from the first four scrolls so if we disregard those first few my gacha luck is almost perfectly normal.

The way the "Gamer" (Term used loosely.) mind works, is anything that they think is going to dominate the market, is the "X" killer. So many MMO's for so many years have been the "WoW" killers, yet WoW killed itself due to bad decisions by Blizzard for a good portion of people. At the end of the day, it's whether you like it, or whether you don't. Doesn't matter if it kills anything.

Sticking your fingers in your ears and going "la la la" (in forum terms blocking people) and being proud of that is childish.

When you know the behind the scenes stuff, when you know how many people were directly affected because one person pushed forward a vanity project, how can anyone still support this product?

Being an ethical consumer is important, consuming without thought or care about 'how the sausage is made' is ignorance at its finest.

Oh, enough with this "won't you think of the poor children (sorry, developers)" nonsense.

But most people on this forum have the wits to make up their own minds, and take on board other people's criticisms when voiced once or twice.

I'm sure there is something about your girlfriend or boyfriend you don't like. It could even be something important. Try criticising them daily on the subject in exceedingly purple language and that relationship is done.

We're not fools, we see the problems. We also see ragebait titles, boring, repetitive criticisms.

It's a game. It is unimportant by definition. Time to move on.

Finaly uninstalled, every game feels like Playing Shipment in CoD but with worse gunplay. All i do is spawn, die, spawn die.. emty my mag into the back of an enemy, he turns around pew pew and i am dead. Atleast in CoD i CAN HAVE FUN cause of SBMM. But here its all sweatlords sitting with there squads in Voice and spawn killing randoms like me. Never ever had so much frustration in a game before and i am an LoL player!

This sounds more like a personal issue to be real
