My guess is that the game balance was broken and they don't know how/didn't think to fix it.
There shouldn't be an issue with people sitting in their base when the primary resource comes from map domination.
Plus removing power generators ruins factions like imperial guard who are more defensive and massively buffs ork and tyrannid which are rush by nature.
I think just ramping up the DOW1 system would be best, have buildable generators with map points that provide huge amounts of energy so if one player turtles and the other dominates they end up with comparable power generation and the defense advantage balanced with the increased requisition.
What I really want to see is nid/ork hordes swarming guard lines and turrets, marines dropping into the middle of bases, necrons teleporting in, ect. Actually different play styles instead of horde smashing into horde.
While it's a different studio making it, I just don't have high hopes and it'll probably be another DOW3 and maybe better made.

This is the other issue with power being an external/point resource. Removes turtling as a viable playstyle.

the save feature was like 3 or 4 years ago. People tried telling the devs the people complaining would continue to complain and as we see they did continue to complain.

people who need save on exit enough to complain about it are typically the same people too stupid to actually use the save on exit they begged for.

Most games have a "save and exit" button clown and we are still on the point where fresh people are complaining about the lack of proper save system.

How about you admit that you were wrong? Its already clear you never checked why those games failed because you are still trying to attribute the failure of the game to user error like the guys with Concord.
