i highly doubt we are gonna get a 3rd Person Mode, the game was built around 1st Person for a reason its more immersive during Movement and Combat.

Cyberpunk 2077 also never got a 3rd person mode (only during Driving Vehicles)

I tried it with cheat engine. Even having crazy ogres, spellbaldes and king at lvl 30 and extremely tanky units, you just get into GIANT numbers on Endless 6 boss which one-shot 50-60K stats units.
