I'm loving the game, but the last area really needs some hyper armor changes

I've been having a blast with the game, as even if many of the enemies are rather blatently taken from Binding of Isaac, the wand and spell mechanics make it enjoyable rather than just feel like a clone. Each run is vastly different, not because "I got these items", but because the combo of different spells, spell boosters and wands mean even with a run that is 80% the same as another, small changes to what you get can make you go for different spell combos that give it a lot more of a refreshing feeling

But one thing I'm really not a fan of is the final area. The first thing, it's a boss gauntlet, in a game that otherwise lacks bosses. Every other area except for the first only has a single possible boss, but then the last area gets nothing but bosses. The only differences across runs is that you sometimes fight some of the bosses in different orders. Given the final boss gauntlet has some actually fun and enjoyable fights, I'd really wish they got spread out across other areas. It's boring and tedious to fight them all one after the other, but spread out it would be a lot better.

The second thing, the hyper armor... I don't I've ever seen a game go so hard on making insanely high DPS builds become less and less effective the better they get. It's like the the game has an inverted U difficulty curve. With low damage it's hard, with good damage it's easy, and with great damage it's back to being hard.

I've had runs where I absolutely shread everything in seconds, only to get stuck on the Thunderbeast for 5 minutes, not because "I can't beat him", but because I'm tickling him with the damage I'm putting out. 5 Million+ damage according to the room tracker, and I'm BARELY at 50% of his HP remaining, and I can't wait to see what Pale Wings is like with all his immunity windows...

I really think there should be some adjustments to how scaling works. Having really strong runs not win super easily is fine, but it feels like "really strong builds" have an easier time than the extremely rare "god run". Reaching the point of being a power fantasy gets punished, and most of the time my losses in stage 5 aren't from dying to a boss that was challenging, it was because I became so bored just running around, shooting a brick wall of health that I get careless.
