Mid game to endgame balance is completly ruined. Armor is in the worst postion now becuase of the changes.
Early game the game is fantastic, everything matters, you play with a lot of guns, you find cool stuff and use cool stuff.
Game is coming back to the survival rpg roots like stoneshard. BUT this is the problem in a way since your inventory is severly limited and you need more and more items for a single mission.
Armor system is trash now, it's a stupid logical dilmea. Enemies get better guns.....equip more armor right? You equip more armor but are a lot easier to hit.
So heavier armor+more items needed for a level+extra ammo+mandatory 2nd gun results in having a huge weight.
So you basically are 50% easier to hit by default. But here is the fun part....your armor will not defend you against all attacks. So enemies with more diverse guns or with different ammo types or enemies with grenades will literally do 100% damage to you.

This was obvious in a mission where i arrived at floor 3, destroyed to wall to not enter through the only door and i got grenade spammed. They had freeze grenades, literally died in a turn without able to react.
It's also clear enemies can spawn with +1 tier of technology higher, i hope this is not intentional.
So basically your 2-3 hours of farming are gone because of a cheese tactic.
Dilthy is more op than ever. Why did you give all advantages and no weakness to dilthy? why does it have such a broad range of tools and units?

Level generation is more anoying with almost no cover, small rooms and not enough loot except food.Stations feel like real stations but they are horrible for combat.

Enemies do the conga line of attack and it's stupid. Kill an enemy, prepare to kill another 20. I had an instance where i killed enemies 2-3 rooms away from the ship but i deposited some loot in the ship, killed some more and went to the ship to find 3 enemies there. They are really cheating with them knowing the position of the player.

Shotguns got nerfed and its good but smgs and sniper rifles are too strong now. I mean why? the enemies don't care how much ammo they shoot or from what range, it's unfair to face 2-3 snipers. Smg tends to push you away,

But my biggest complain is that the clones and classes are not rebalanced. All clone perks need to be rebalanced so they are more interesting. All classes need to have max 2 trigger perks but they should be activated by the player and all classes need 1 economy perk(gain 500 extra credit with faction after mission, gain 50 random ammo after mission, gain a food package, can use all facilities without energy(medical, radar). etc

It feels like you should go back to the initial armor style balance or give armor defence but also Absorb stat. For example some armor could have low defence but absorb 10 laser damage before damage is calculated.
Armor feels very weak, boring and similar. Stoneshard fixed it by giving it broader range of stats and enchant. Why not improve armor with addons? Just upgrade for stats feels wrong.

Overall, the game feels better in the survival department and early game fun. But armor is trash and enemies are unbalanced and armor becomes useless. In this meta we need faster crafting and more inventory slots.
