Yeah, but the two most important are.
Those being the director/writer, Matsuno, and the Event Planner, Maehiro.
The writer comes up with the idea, and the event planner turns that into gameplay, cutscenes, etc.
The only person really missing is the producer, Sakaguchi, but a producer only oversees and bridges the teams to make sure the ship's running on schedule and on budget. Not making storyboard or gameplay decisions, which again, would be Matsuno and Maehiro.

There's no director, no story/scenario writer, no planner, nothing.
WotL content almost quite literally was made by random people on the team going "ey what if we added this as fanservice?"
It is the closest you can get to fanfiction without being a socially outcast teenager.

In regards to Sakaguchi, it sounded like (which I read from interviews, which at the moment I am not in a position to fltrack down the links for, but they're out there) for FFT specially, he had the idea of making a tactics game and something like a one page write up of the very rough premise of the game. That one page (or whatever short) document? Matsuno essentially threw out and did his own thing. Sakaguchi liked what Matsuno did instead.

Creatively, Sakaguchi did very little for FFT during the original project.

the only thing that i dont like is the art to collect sand & spice
i understand that there must be some difficults to collect to not reach t6 too fast

but maybe add some other possibility to get that sand and spice maybe with a different and longer process to collect like mining ?

fastest way would be to get rid of this worm in such a frequence how it spawns
thats for me a gamebreaker jump & run style which dont fits in entire game.

lets see what will happen but my motivation atm is no very high

i dont reall get the Hate for the devs for being slower than others? they are a small team and love what they do. but they also know that taking breaks is important for creativity and family. but none of you have kids probably and way too much time infront of a screen. YOU made the decision to buy and play an early acces title. they dont owe you anything since you can play what you paid money for ( not like ubisoft ) just be patient and play something else if you get bored. there are so many great games out there to play
