Ok finally figured it out. Here are my thoughts so far...

• It looks like you MUST use an Xbox controller. No other controller will work not even a
  PC one.
  
• You are tethered to each other. The tether is only about as long as the screen. There is
  no split screen option at all.
  
• Both of you see EVERY THING. Dialogue. Opening a container, inventory, skills, etc. It
  interrupts whatever the other player was doing. Even if you are on separate machines.
  
• My sister and I encountered an oddity that I am not sure if it was just our inexperience
  or a bug, but half the time either she could interact with things and I couldn't, or I could
  and she could not. This included gathering/looting, selling or purchasing, and
  interacting with crafting stations and beds.
  
• Resources seem limited when you are starting out, and it doesn't appear to scale with
  the addition of another person. We were struggling to earn coin and stay fed.

For anyone that is wondering if they should buy the game now or wait, I am inclined to recommend waiting if co-op is an important feature to you. In my opinion, this is not true co-op for 2025.

Most of the time you can do this.

Inspect a character (T or mouse middle). Click to their current cards tab. Click the active card and choose to discard.

How should Bethesda say sorry to players? Maybe they make a topic for suggestions and ideas? Or a poll?



This topic idea was made after someone for the 10,000 time said bad things about Starfield players.



I made this reply knowing that Starfield was advertised to Skyrim players as Skyrim in space for many years:



"Well Bethesda latest update is for online only Fallout 76 to allow players to become ghouls right?

Latest update for Starfield was a DOOM DLC last year right?



I dont know why so much focus on paying players in general, they are not making players into ghouls for an online only game, or making DOOM DLC for a space science fiction, or making the newest game appear abandoned, all players did was buy a game advertised, to this day on the store page, as Skyrim in space.



Seriously, after all that why advertise Starfield as Skyrim in space to Skyrim players for years, until this very day, then say so many bad things about players after they paid money?

If Starfield isnt Skyrim in space then the store page shouldnt say Skyrim so many times. (Although some of it is now hidden at the back in videos and tough to find)



Seems like alot of trolling and bullying going on towards players that paid money.



Maybe Bethesda is trying to find a way to say sorry to paying players? Maybe make poll or a topic for suggestions and ideas? "
