Jokes aside, probably you have something wrong into your windows registry or something else, this game literally the only problem it have is just connection errors or simply slow connection with the server, just try to use some registry cleaner software, sometimes is the solution.

I play on a Steam Deck (docked) and a gaming laptop w/ 3070. Both struggle with frame rates that often drop below 30FPS (I have both devices locked to 60FPS). I've dialed down the graphics and even changed the resolution to 1080p on the laptop. Any suggestions on how to keep the frame rate at 60?

On the second screenshot, none of the data lights are green. That means the gyro is being set to the wrong data. It'd be understandable for the AOB to be unlit, due to the bearing rate change, but the speed and range should be.

Lights goes off sometimes despite updating values after entering them, but I managed to shoot some subs with lights off anyway

As I stated, the AOB light being off is understandable because of the bearing rate change, though you should still set it, but the target speed and range only turn off if you set a new parameter or lock a different target. You still need to update the parameters so the TDC can work out the correct gyro angle.

IIRC the target speed parameter defaults to 24kn (roughly 44.5 kmh in the units you're using). Between that and an unset AOB, the torpedo track in the third screenshot can be explained.

I picked 30 in the same situation, max star 1st and 3rd bosses (miscalculated number of stars on 2nd), final result is about 2.1k token

I think you can try the 40s and reset if it is too difficult to finish?
