I thought my PC is broken.
It´s really the update.
Fresh 24H2 and AC Unity was freezing the whole PC.

It was the Nvidia Overlay here.
So i suggest also to disable all overlay features when playing older Ubisoft Titles.
Steam, Nvidia, AMD, Fraps whatever. --- Disabling helped me :)

Its feels cool to do it, but i can agree that it promotes the wrong type of gameplay for a bf game, but before sliding people were dolphindiving, bunny hopping around corners so, if it doesnt exist, people will solve the issue in another way,
IF you are lucky they could potentially disable this in portal.

Stamina system would fix all of that, also, disable the ability to turn and or fire while in the air.
