you arent bud. But you do kinda seem like the A-hole here, let me explain.

the installation steps here are because of free mods developed in some talented people's free time, not the game you paid for. The game you paid for is performing as intended.

The RE2 modpack represents the culmination of lots of talented people putting in lots of expensive expertise man-hours to provide what we enjoy.

The new features of that modpack, again implemented by more voluntary talented hours unfortunately require a wipe. Now these talented people knew there might be some out there who weren't ready for the universe update, but wanted to enjoy the new RE2 patch. They made a temporary branch for those people which is incredibly considerate and helpful to those community managers out there. Huge kudos to people who invest energy on things they dont personally care about so that others may find happiness.

We aren't entitled to make demands. You do however have the privilage of accepting the generosity of perfect strangers.

I hope this helps you find a more graceful way to ask for help or provide feedback, or we might not have another patch.
