I went until the control center thinking that losing your inventory on death was ok, quite annoying sometimes but always fair, and doable on your corpse runs.

Then i found out there are instances where you can absolutely get shot down in situations, where a corpse run is not feasible anymore.
Seriously? Keep the corpse in sight of those auto turrets? Why not put it a bit before the death event, in order for the corpse to be retreivable?
Hah, useless.

Went into my savegame location, loaded up a backup, changed the settings to keep everything on death, and never looked back!

Yiep, when that update about precision strike came, someone posted about the bombing run destroying stuff, so I started to test and came to more or less the same conclussion at everyone else.

It was discussed (briefly) here and in reddit, specially since the devs never said a word about it nor reverted the unnanounced changes

Currently playing through OT2 on Switch and looking at this it makes me wonder: What happened here? No, hired company is not an excuse when you a) demand 50 bucks for it and b) had the improved style of part 2 as a template to work from.

Maybe they chose some alpha visual screenshots (which would be crazy since screenshots are usually the most misleading kind of marketing they do) but I can't be the only one who thinks that most scenes we are seeing look "barren" and "lifeless" compared to the entry that came right before. OT2 is basically peak HD2D because running through a forest even on Switch makes the atmosphere just crawl through the TV (animals running around/particle effects and fog a.s.o. enhancing everything).
This ... I really don't know what this is. I may have to boot up OT1 again but I almost think this game looks worse than SE's very first attempt at the artstyle?!

Needless to say: I'm really dissapointed. Dissapointed that SE thought this game wasn't really worth their own attention and dissapointed that the devs who made this thought this level of care was acceptable. Honestly reminds me of DK Returns HD ....

I will not defend OP since I dunno if he is trolling or he as serious complaints. What I can tell you is there is a lobby with good financial structure, that have problem with straight people having attractive females or simply normal straight relationship in both games and TV shows, and it isn't only limited to Australia. If you want to deny it, then go ahead and give me 5 examples of the contrary. If you will just go with adhominem or other logical fallacy while avoiding to stay on subject at least I will know that you are activist that is trying to gaslight reality.

I've been there and I saw this plays out since 2011, it's why you have all the culture warfare to begin with in gaming, cause people finally got pissed off about it enough to actually inconvenience themselves just to go after people that ruined their entertainment.
If you want to claim "it's just the minority of extremist" or that I am lying. I will not even engage with it. Everyone can see it now.

Just before you will claim this, I don't hate people of Australia nor U.K or Canada(3 worst example of oppressive regimes, from the "western world"). I hate their government that do nothing for their people and all to gain as much of power as they can by any mean nessesary, and I hate those activists that have nothing better to do in life but go after things I enjoy, for their grifting needs.

So disappointed they have left the game in this state, makes me want to stop playing. I thought the MS acquisition would stop things like this from happening.. there are no excuses left obsidian.

We've already contacted NVIDIA multiple times but it seems we are too small / unimportant and they are not interested in adding our game to their system.
The only thing left is probably the voting system on their platform, where they may think about it again if many users show enough interest.
