Why settle for 6/10 when it can be 10/10? It’s not the only objective, but it’s part of a properly finished match. No freebies, no coin flips, no gamble game — that’s what makes it a properly finished round, that’s the fun.

Ok I've tried a new game, and it seems to be a problem with all things that only produce one thing, because it affects my well as well. The interface at the bottom which lets me control how much is produced doesn't work. However, if you scroll in a lot, then you can somewhat get it to work. Barely. You can use it to set how many are to be put in stock. Its a frustrating bug.

I've played a lot of Don't Starve, which is why I wish there was a some kind of perma-death mode. This game would be perfect for it, considering the open world, item crafting and scavenging.

bought early access.. music is amazing.. graphics are great.. slower pace is better (i like wow hardcore, diablo 4 literally puts me to sleep and is boring you just mash 1 or 2 buttons)

Most of the time I find that this happens when all your planets are set to auto-designated. They'll swap to something else when there is a shortage which changes your pops jobs which can cause another shortage so it'll swap again and again.

Its taken me a bit and is a little more micromanagement at the start but I find that you just have to try and stagger your growth progression. I tend to work on one planet at a time and put all the extra early citizens to work as basic workers on new planets. Key early is to resist just spam building things that aren't going to be used for awhile.

Generally I'll work on worlds to have 2000pop/2000jobs and then work on building up the next planet. When I have a few (5-6) of those, then I'll allow a cpl of the OG to go up to something like 2500 jobs and let the pop build or just keep expanding and taking over planets but settling them only to 2k/2k. Also depends on how habitable those worlds are as well as you try and balance out that negative ;)

Overall though, i've gotten used to the new system and don't mind it at all. Few things still need to be tweaked but I'm cool with it.
