My Reaver, lv22, uses both Dodge and Barrier frequently, both are lv 0 with no points spent in them,

My Ashstalker, lv22, uses both Dodge and Barrier frequently, but I spent 3 points into Barrier because I had 3 points to spare and grabbing the Guard, Heal when hit, and reflect damage when hit nodes fit my face-tanking playstyle perfectly.

You can use them without investing heavily into them, or you can put a few points into them to make them better for your playstyle

Or I can just ignore their entire existence and it works too? That's what I ended up doing with barrier. Maybe this is a keyboard and mouse problem, but I only have so many keys that I can reliably reach without having to look and aim (teeny pawsies problems). Weapon attack and barrier were a victim of that, I suppose.

I don't actually like playing character builds without any sort of defense. But if the only available defense only lasts a few seconds and it adds yet another cooldown I need to keep an eye on in tense combat situations? Nah. Not useful. Not for me at least.

Yeah, those decisions are pretty useful. Very abusable as well.

Secure boot does not grant them kernel level access. If the anti-cheat enforces kernel level access, it does so with or without secure boot.

It does not lower performance only in some extreme edge cases.

It just makes sure you can only boot verified and trusted hard- and software. It's a signature verification. Not some plot to farm data you already spread freely on the internet or through your phones.

Untrue. I'm using a gigabyte AORUS motherboard and I do NOT have that problem. Also, I've been using SecureBoot for 3 years now.
