I know you're assblasted because I called you out, but statements like the one above are *why* I called you out.

Specifically, myopic generalisations combined with a conspicuous level of passive-aggressive, personal, thinly-veiled contempt.

I've made several lengthy, detailed, and sincere posts in this thread discussing OP's topic. I've stated my position, and why I've arrived at that conclusion repeatedly. You've obviously checked my profile and read my reviews. I implore you to read my comments on this game as well if you want, since I have at least a dozen or more which consistently outline my opinion on Arbites, and why I think they detract from the quality of the game in their current state.

I didn't expect to get into a pissing contest with anyone. An earlier commentator (Aleera) and I had a disagreement, but we sorted it out. We agreed to disagree. Aleera was respectful, and I recognised that person's perspective as valid. Not as accurate as my own in my opinion, but valid. And I'm okay with flinging some spice. It's probably obvious to you and many others that I enjoy some sass when I chat with people in these discussion pages. Truthfully, I don't hate or dislike any of you. On the contrary, I typically enjoy the engagement, even when things get a bit heated. I rarely encounter someone who doesn't have something valuable to say occasionally, even if I think a lot of their comments are junk.

You have now made three or four successive comments to which I haven't responded, after an earlier comment where you claimed to be done with the conversation. And now, you're conflating my disagreement with you with an altercation you're simultaneously having with a different person.

No doubt you're upset by the more personal nature of my earlier engagements with you, but that was largely a response (and I think a proportional one) to obviously antagonistic, mean-spirited, off-topic, and wheedling comments like:

You don't understand humans my friend.

or

Some day you will figure out people who have the exact same opinion, or play a game the exact same way as you are are very minimal.

or

Why are you even playing darktide or on the forums, you gave it a bad review 600 hours ago. Lol, and you're telling me how I should play games, comedy.

This is the best I can give you, and it's the last thing I'm going to say to you for the foreseeable future: stop dragging me into your comments, stop pushing for fights, and stop drawing them out.

This has been an enormous waste of time and energy which has contributed nothing of value to the discussion at hand: is Arbites too powerful, should they be nerfed or left as is.

Now leave me alone.

Many, many thanks. This oddity of a bug has been bothering me for a good few days now (even though I've not actually tried to start/load a save in that time, I still see related red errors in the logs as a result of it) - you have my gratitude for squashing it in short order.

Hopefully this was the same bug that you're experiencing and not yet another one. I guess we'll see once you try with 0.9.4. 😅

Matchmaking is fine for me, seems to add me into a match after about 2-3 minutes currently
