so now we're pivoting to nitpicking my paraphrase of Leziropav instead of addressing the actual argument I made?

Cool let’s clarify then: Leziropav did make a hard claim “The game being bad performance on PC is caused by investor who want the game released soon.” That’s what you quoted. That’s not far off from “Investors forced Capcom to release early.” The wording may differ slightly, but the implication is the same external pressure led to premature release and performance issues.

But even if you want to argue semantics, that doesn’t invalidate the rest of what I said. You’ve latched onto one line and ignored the actual reasoning I laid out: the pattern of end of fiscal releases, the timing, the industry trends, and how investor pressure often doesn’t show up in black and white quotes. If you can’t (or won’t) engage with that, then just say so. But trying to turn this into a "gotcha" over phrasing is weak, and frankly, a bit transparent
Regardless of whether you reply or not I'm tired and going to bed. So here's my final take for the night:
this was never about the actual logic of the claim. You don’t like the game and wanted an excuse to discredit anyone who defends it, even slightly. That’s fine, just don’t pretend it was ever about clarity or truth.

The person I was responding to made a claim in defense of the director who the OP does not believe is suited for the job.

I saw that claim and thought, "There is no way this person could know this. It would have required deep and intimate knowledge of the inner workings at Capcom." So I asked for a source.

You responded multiple times in an attempt to drag the conversation away from my original comment. I am simply not entertaining that.
You’re welcome to tap out since I'm going to bed myself, but let’s be honest about why.

You quoted a claim about investor pressure, not the director’s capabilities ,and asked for a source. I replied to that directly, then laid out a reasoned explanation for why investor influence is a fair inference, even without a “smoking gun.”

Now that your attempt at a gotcha didn’t land, you’re trying to reframe the whole conversation as something else. That’s fine but don’t pretend I was the one derailing.

If you're not interested in engaging with the reasoning behind industry patterns, that’s your choice. Just say so. Just in this last post, you deflected by reframing your intent and dodging the substance of my original argument
