I think the only unenjoyable part of the game for me are the quests. the extremely limited time, the nature of the villager schedules preventing easy delivery of items, and the requirement that the materials be FRESHLY COLLECTED during the quest (meaning you can't just run home and retrieve the required items that you've already stockpiled) just make them so unpleasant/unfun to complete.

The worst is when you do actually manage to fulfill the request before the villager retires for the evening, but didn't have enough time to run over to deliver before the villager enters a locked building. Or, you DO catch the villager, but can't make it home before 2am and the losses from passing out outweigh the quest rewards.


The rest of the game, provided you don't try to min/max profits, is very fun and enjoyable. It's important to remember the whole roleplay of the game is that your farmer wanted to quit the rat race and go live in a sleepy town on his Grandfather's paid-off house so he can do what HE WANTS every day, WHEN he wants, and not have to feel rushed.

"Excuse me, I said I want 25 gold star vegetables! PS, the million hot peppers you are growing don't count as a vegetable."
And of course, it is on offer the day after you harvest 48 corn, in the back half of summer.

PS, all those million hot peppers you are growing not even to sell, but to stockpile to make pepper poppers? Oh those are not vegetables, sorry.

they couldnt accept criticism even from someone who can program better than all 3 of these devs, has near 1100 hours of game knowledge, and they ban me DUE to fear of criticism and they dont even uphold their own rules. i streamed the entire event. its hysterical

Such little content right now as it stands. To be honest I wasnt expecting much for this but its semi underwhelming for todays gaming needs. Half the QoL of most arpgs in the genre and a 100% on combat. Not a bad idea but the combat aint good enough to take that trophy sooooo it kinda needs quite a bit more just to stand on its own. Its good but no where near good enough and that road map does not look all that promising...

Old operators exist too. They're worse IMO. On the other hand, I find the young operators to be much better-looking. It's just so much harder to make a Drifter that isn't ugly.

Honestly it's easier to make a drifter that isn't ugly. The operators tend to just not look right or look uncanny. Drifter not so much but it still does sometimes.

Yes for sure its not perfect. But its not a disaster like people on steam forums like to parade. I know one mission breaks right now. But that doesn't take away from everything else. And we'll be getting more content soon

It's not a "law enforcement responsibility" when the origins of the problem are outside of the jurisdiction of any US law enforcement. It becomes an international problem, and that's where military jurisdiction is.
