this!!! i was lucky enough to not come across any antlions or scorpions on my first run yesterday and assumed it was the bug phobia mode at work, but i came across a scorpion today and had to close the game. dealing with bees for me was alright since a quick mute could fix that, but as mentioned, the shape and animation freak me out. it saddens me because i love the game and greatly appreciate the dev teams efforts, but it's unplayable for me atm TT

very similar experience to how playing the mesa was for me, bees hadnt been a problem really for me since its mainly just the buzzing sound from them and i know that visually at most its just a bunch of small particles in the air. Havent encountered a scorpion but my first experience with an antlion was horrible, got stuck in the pit with it so it wouldnt stop making the sounds and covering my screen, had to alt+f4 the game to make it stop because it was too much.

really "happy" to see so many people sharing they feel the same about the updates bugs and that its not just me. probably going to try to play it more with friends but the game really has a big amount of friction for me now because of the mesa.

That's what I'm saying. You can only make them a certain shortness. The game keeps them at a minimum height but when I see other people do it they can make them short enough to go into the floor not hover above it. It just seems physically impossible here on my client.

I know exactly what you mean now. About a month before the Beta release, I asked that we would be able to lower the horizontal planks of the gate (fence over path) flush to the ground for a few reasons... the same would apply to the brick walls.

I'm certainly not complaining, in light of the outstanding work done by our devs in the new update, but I'm just curious to know why there are certain limits imposed on the the various elements/tools...

Why is the maximum width of the stair/ramp/bridge tool, so narrow in comparison to other building elements? The height is near unlimited, but the width is quite narrow when trying to use it for wider applications and then you have to double them up side by side, which results in having the border ridge run down the middle of where they a butted against each other.

Why can't the ramp taper down to nothing so that the border of the ramp doesn't create that same ridge (speed bump) at the threshold of the ramp. Similarly, why when we adjust the height of the roof, why does it have to snap down flat instead of being adjustable from 0° to X°? Why is the minimum size of the square (x, y, z), and round (dia. and height), buildings limited to the present minimum size? It seems they would be more versatile if they could be reduced to half of their present size. I realize that the smaller they get, the less compatible they will be elements such as windows and doors, but who cares?... it would greatly multiply their possible applications.

I don't know the first thing about coding, so maybe there's some sorcery that imposes the limits I'm talking about... and I don't have a problem with it if that's the way it must be, but I'm just one of those people that likes to know why.
