- Currently, in PUBG’s Normal Match mode, players have only two options regarding map selection:

1. Quick Join – where the system randomly selects any map

2. Map Select – where players are limited to only one map choice

However, being restricted to just one selectable map creates a suboptimal experience for many players, including myself and my regular squad. We enjoy multiple maps and would like more variety in our play sessions — but we also don’t want to rely completely on Quick Join, which often puts us on maps that don’t match our preferences or playstyle.

Example: A player can select Erangel + Taego, or Miramar + Vikendi, depending on their personal preference.

I'm just putting in my two cents, that I'm not really into procedural generation.

Oh I'm not in either camp I'm just saying "It could have happened". I think he just decided it was too much of a pain in the butt to do, so I doubt he's a fan of the idea anymore either.

ok cool, keep us posted, who knows might be an issue they need to fix. I did see people who posted that the change was there as it should be for them and I agree with you that it's minor, we're talking about a name change on a resource ,but still if the update says they were changed then they should be.
