I am not sure, if this is a technical thing, so I first post it here, if I may:

The distinguishable sound of walking feet is always the same pace,
even when walking slowly. And it's a rather fast(er) one.
It feels like I make quick, very small steps, not slow walking steps.

Not talking about the sound to startle animals, but the one I hear inse ear.

I play with a controller, for I just like that better in games like this, and so I have the option to reduce the walking speed continuously with the stick; optical/gameplaywise this works ok, but what puts me off is the sound, it does not adjust to the walking speed, doesn't fit.

So I want to ask my fellow hunting strollers: is this just on my end?

Because it grabs into my brain, and because this is quite a walking-game,
what I like, it is relaxing for that matter, and this is a good thing for my nerves ;-)

But I need a slower walking sound when walking slower. If that makes any sense...

No pun intended, I know it's much to ask and I guess it soundsabit 'strange' alright,
but maybe it is on my end and I can fix it anyhow? Even with the help of those unspeakable you-know-whats we dare not to think about for they are banned here.
I am just asking for advice and/or help to enjoy this game further.

By the way: the controlls over all are a little nightmare, still trying to find out a proper way to change the controller-bindings, but it's a bit messy
(maybe that's on my end too? what do I know...)

Crashes when I try to interact with anything in the hub. Game is unplayable because of this.

Also had the game disappear from the taskbar after ALT+Tab.

Looks to be an issue with click to move, should work fine if disabled - working on a fix atm!

Unfortunately the answer is that we don't know.

We've had conflicting past results for pre-order bonuses.
For SRW V/X which are SEA exclusives on Steam, the pre-order bonuses have *never* come back up. Though
For SRW30 which is an international release, they eventually relented and gave the preorder bonuses to everyone after something like 10 months for free.

What will happen with Y? I don't think anyone can give you a clear answer.

Regardless of what Steam supposedly has done, is supposedly doing, and supposedly will continue doing, I'll never use Epic because they basically are reinventing the reason for "creative acquisition" of games. Making things insufferable should be shamed always and championed never. "It's just another launcher." I don't like it. If they add more security and features, maybe they could win me and some other folks in time, but they do not seem interested.

Comparing the services, one is actual crap while the other is feature rich and robust. I'm actually surprised after all these years Epic is still lacking in just about every area despite having several competing storefronts to inspire them. This alone should be a red flag to avoid them as they seem uninterested in improving themselves. If a store looks really shady, I probably won't go in there. It's probably time to admit they don't want to improve and this should influence the customer's decision. What good is anything free when it comes with so many red flags?

I've been following this for a long time as this is critical in whether or not I ever buy this game; the first one. Money has never been a factor in this issue. A day will come, or perhaps it already has, when people will have to weigh their integrity versus bending over and taking one they cannot ever take back. Free? No such thing exists.
