BG3 was only succesful because of Larian. Do you really think WOTC would make anything but a cash grab? BG3 Voice Actors would be stabbing Larian AND the fanbase in the back by taking their blood money.

There's a pretty fine line between begging and asking.

Steam points don't necessarily require money to get in the first place. They can be gifted.

That's a bit like saying that an apple, orange, or banana doesn't require a tree in the first place because they can be gifted.

Mmm. Yeah ok that's a good point. I still wouldn't really categorise it as begging or commercial, though. It's not like you can trade steam points for money (unless there's some sort of black market for this, which wouldn't really surprised me).
