Having issues with Steam Dock and Samsung TVs in particular. Have to unplug and frolic the USB C power cable every time. Absolutely maddening.

I don't know if you are used to soulslikes like me, but the whole roguelite element of this game is throwing me off as well. In souls you usually get a nice checkpoint before the boss and then you go to work at him.
But as far as Galley Slave, I'd say just aim to farm the island to get stronger for now and if you end up having a good run and clearing things with extra potions left, go for the boss. Fortunately Galley Slave is not so hard once you fight him a few times. You can use a good shotgun and your demonic weapon to do some good damage.

It's been impossible for me to play over the last two nights when the audio is muffled, almost non-existent minus my loud footsteps.

Well nothings a challenge to clerics broken last weapon. That things ridiculous.
First 3 weapons tho, cleric, and mage both were pretty bad. The hammer is a strong range weapon causes extremely solid damage. And with all the centaurs solid damage seems better than shooting rapidly. But cleric is ridiculously op later game once he gets ghostbuster on people.

When I went back into the game it didn't save my progress but went back to a much earlier time.

how to fix this ?
