The "secret" boss is only unlocked after completing the main story, but to unlock it properly, you need to have the items from the DLC areas, including some remembered weapons, all anvil upgrades (no upgrades in the DLCs areas).

Be careful with the Innocent questline, since you also need that as well. Follow a guide, it's unnecessarily confusing without one.

Beat the boss countless times but it's a huge regression in boss design and not fun at all. I want to play Dork Souls, not Monster Hunter.

Any way to keep weapons obtained from the box? Or potentially add the option to loot enemy corpses for guns/ammo.
