What is the point of specific characters having specific skills if you cannot appoint them to specific tasks. No matter what I do, they just randomly choose to do other tasks. Assign someone to fetch water, they go build a cabin while the person with no water fetch bonus and a building bonus fetches the water instead. You can't even stop them from performing a task. They just go right back to it. What a frustrating and ridiculous game.

Funcom has been clear about what they intend. They cannot help that people keep imagining that they promised a PvE/Solo game to the players... They only said it was possible to play the game like that. They never said they would stop other players from playing the game their own way.

The tech support isn't going to give you a negative answer when you complain about intended gameplay. They want people reporting real bugs and exploits, but they cannot afford to be real with you if you couldn't tell clearly intended gameplay was allowed. It's better to answer ambiguously and leave you mystified. I have no issue telling you the full truth.

How could it NOT be intended gameplay? They don't intend for all players to do it, because there are many styles of playing the game... But Dune isn't a Paradise Gem World.

You would not want what you are actually asking for... If they really allowed bases to be immortal, the servers would become laggy and full of empty abandoned bases. It's happened over and over, and they cannot afford to pay someone to clean it up. Cleaning it up is rewarding gameplay for players.

I think that is a little harsh for this game. I saw your comment on the other post also bashing the developer. I understand your frustration, but this is still a fun silly game. You apparently played it enough to want it to be better. The game is totally playable in this state. Also the price is very reasonable. It's a unique game that doesn't have too many counterparts (Luck be a Landlord). You also said they "keep releasing DLCs" while this is only the first to my knowledge.
I honestly DO want them to fix the translation issues as well as game balances because the game is so cool. But if they don't address the issues, the game is/was still fun and enjoyable for the "value."

"Competitive Smackdown"? The hell did I miss? N.O. has a Pay-Per-View mode? Hell in a Cell? 4 Way Cage Match? Handicap Ladder Matches?

The most recent drivers have actually been alright for me, they fixed a ton of issues I've been having on both my 3080 and 5080 builds.
